To understand our CRM users we designed this testing project to answer some of our questions:
● Starting point: In DocuSign or in CRM? (Other systems like ERP, accounting, etc.)
● Document source: Template creates copy of recent document, upload Word/Google, or create new blank.
● User Journey: processes needed to take place (ex. approvals) before finalizing the document, then how in-flight changes affect routing order/sequence?
● And more in those area:
Collaboration permissions, CRM data fields, Workflow, Number of templates, Data collection, Version control...
For this project, I started by studying on our competitors, taking DocuSign university courses and receiving DoccuSign for Salesforce Administrator certification, which helped me understand more about Salesforce, how DocuSign for Salesforce works currently and our users’ pain-points.
